PRP Motorcycle racer Adam Smoker in fatal accident

The PRP management, staff, and racing community are shocked and saddend to learn that Adam Smoker, racer in the Motorcycle class, lost his life late Saturday night in an accident on Route 30. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Adam's family, friends, and fellow racers.
Harry Prue, father of Scott Prue, passed away suddenly and unexpectedly Thursday, June 6. The PRP staff and racing community offer their deepest condolences to Scott and his family. (See link for obituary) http://obituaries.triblive.com/listing/226041/Harry-F-Prue/

Regis D. Penrod
Fellow Keystone Raceway Park (KRP) / Pittsburgh Raceway Park (PRP) Dragbike Competitor, Regis Penrod 66 of Winber Pa, passed-on yesterday March 13 2013 while under Hospice care. Known by everyone in the bike pits at PRP, Reg conversed freely amongst the other riders on a weekly basis throughout his 1980-2010 Racing Career. Told by his wife, he loved family, motorcycles and drag racing. He will be remembered at the PRP track by everyone he touched in the last 30 years "Ride-On REG"

Pittsburgh Raceway Park Modified/Top class driver David Poorman Jr. was admitted to the hospital Monday with chest pains, possibly a mild heart attack. He has undergone cardiac tests, and is currently resting. The tests have uncovered clogged arteries that will need to be corrected via heart bypass surgery. The operation will occur in the next few days. Piitsburgh Raceway Park management and staff asks that you keep David and his family in your thoughts and prayers.
